Welcome to Everything Airplanes

  • by

My name is Jamie.

Welcome to Everything Airplanes.

I have been professionally involved with aviation for over 35 years as an Aviation Maintenance Technician – IA and Maintenance Manager working for such companies as Delta Air Lines, Air Evac Lifeteam, American Eagle Airlines,  Air Cargo Carriers, and most recently Wisconsin Aviation.

I have had a passion for all things aviation since my first airplane ride, and this website is my opportunity to share my passion of airplanes and aviation with those of similar interest.

I received my first airplane ride when I was 7 years old in a 1941 WACO biplane. The place Waukesha, WI (KUES).  The pilot Mr. Dale Crites. For those of you familiar with Wisconsin aviation Mr. Crites and his twin brother Dean were two of the more prominent aviation personalities in the early years of Wisconsin Aviation. The airport I received my first airplane ride now proudly holds the Crites brothers name, “Crites Field”.

I’m excited to start my blog and share my aviation experiences on this site. I have undertaken a project of visiting Pioneer Aviators burial sites and hope to have my page dedicated to those men and women populated in the near future.  I also plan to have a page dedicated to Aviation Movies. I have over the years collect in excess of 100 aviation movies. I hope to provide a review of those movies and provide links so that you can add some of these classic films to your collection.  Since 1984 I have travelled the United States and several European countries to visit aviation museums and attend air shows. I hope you will return often to share my aviation experiences, and my love of EVERYTHING AIRPLANES.

Blues Skies
